DynaBrade makes great tools. I always bought the da Sanders they made. They take a lot of abuse, and stay smooth as day one.

I myself have Hutchins DA Sanders. They smooth too.

Nah. Dont do that.
Just because 1 truck broke. It's a piece of machinery. Built by imperfect men and machines.
Nothing lasts forever.

And your low. Say, $100 labor rate, 40 hours, thats $4,000 there.
Engine assembly is about $14,000. For just the complete engine.
A gas 2.4 is $6,000. Thats why I go as far as replacing crankshafts to keep them running.

I hauled in a load of scrap this morning.
Saw this forlorn little pos just sitting on top of a dead mower.



I asked about it, guy says on your last trip over the scale, just toss it in your truck.

Its clean. Compression feels ok. I added some mix and found out why it was there. It leaks. I'm guessing it's got a bad line buried in there.

Mechanic said off a dump truck. Was loaded and couldn't tow it . So drove it for delivery and then to the shop. Spit the piston and had zero brakes when he got to the garage

Must have been a smallish dump truck. All I've ever worked on or driven,have been drums all the way around. Unless something has changed I haven't heard of or seen. Idk
