Waiting on a transfer to Joplin from Clinton. Too many holidays for them to get in a hurry and my work hours have shot up over the last week. Easier to spend an hour on the road bringing it home rather than 6 hours and if anything happens between the two places it's on them rather than me. Like say, they don't close a door all the way and it decides to open at highway speed with the tractor facing forward. I try to throw a strap on it just in case.

Intersections in the country that have truck traffic have to be paved with concrete cuz the semis wrinkle up the asphalt
