Missed the picture in getting phone out. Loons come around the area to the clear water lakes when the temps drop up north. I didn't realize they would come to the area until I started fishing this lake a few years back. Saw them up north when my brother lived in Wisconsin and I would visit.

They used to take logs at the mill when it was owned by Weyerhaeuser. Now everything is chipped in the bush, it eliminated all the small outfits and guys who owned their own trucks.

I wonder what those concrete thing were from in your bottom picture. I was going to ask Stihl livin but never did.

I asked him right after I got there.
He thought they were something from WWII as they were going to build a munitions plant in that area. Maybe something to house explosive material, hence the spacing?
I surmised that they kept all the original vinyl copies of Princes albums hidden in them.

The black strip across the rear bumper makes them look a bit weird, but those rubber band tires don't look quite right.
