Were you loaded just in case ze cougar took an interest in getting closer to you?

I didn't have any firepower with me on that trip, but I ran into a father-son team down the road working on their deer tags and told them about it.

They were probably 1/2 mile away. Son had a .270 and dad had a .300 Weatherby Mag so they could have bagged it easily.

I would guess the cat was probably 85-90 pounds.

My wife & I did serve. Mine was via USAF, she is a 30 yr Disabled Wounded Warrior via Army.

@USMC615 Jason you need my sources for lump hardwood charcoal. How long would that last for you. That's only about 1/3 of what they had bagged at the time. Guess I need to buy a kettle grill so they can hook me up.

Right! I walked in this morning to buy a potato fork and they were stocking the Christmas stuff. You have to buy it when you see it or it won't be there when you want it in December!
