Had a great weekend fishing! Today’s haul. Lost a big one yesterday, broke my 65lb braid, probably an honest 25+ Lbs, jumped completely out of the water after making a 75yard pull. Broke off in the air, real strong fish, Not sure if the line caught an under water branch or what! Saw him in the air waving goodbye…

A friend and I took in a little water therapy yesterday as well. Ran some jug lines. Can't do it much in the summer anymore because of the idiots in the other boats. They take it as a challenge to see how close they can get to us while we fish.

Yeah the disrespectful pleasure boaters are a pain,especially disrespectful jet skiers, we had one last year keep buzzing by us within 20 feet,and off in a cove of all places. Himself and his jet ski ended up catching a 10ft cast net with max spread at about 40mph or so. We had a little talk after we helped him get untangled, come to find out he was only 14, but he got a better understanding about will happen if you keep pushing the right person's buttons.

Probably better than a treble hook across the face that my friend was wanting to make happen. It didn't help that there was a bass tournament going on, again. We fished this cove a month ago and were chased out then.

Lol,yeah I thought about that before also. I've had fishermen try and crowd me. But I guess that's the benefit of an aluminum boat, we grab stuff and start making it sound like native American war drums, boy you talking about pissing people off. Lol
