I dig the weathered wood! That could have been laying there for a long time! It surprises me how long wood can last, even here in the wet coastal Oregon!

Camp Crowder on occasion will have a boy scout camp out. In the 9 1/2 years I have delivered to them it has happened one time. This is the only time and place to earn the Camp Swampy badge. Mort Walker was stationed here during WWII and the local park has a Mort Walker hiking trail as well. Younger people don't read the comics anymore and when I say that I deliver to Camp Swampy I get a vacant look.
