Slept like that for nearly three months during the monsoon north of Ahn Khe, RVN.

Tho the equipment wasn’t near as fancy. Just a nylon hammock and my pancho.

One can only sleep on one’s back. But stayed dry(ish).

Treadlite. Man if I could buy extra time, never been this busy. But I sorta like breaking ground up by hand. Kinda rewarding to see what you can do.

get out a tiny, sharp drill bit and spin it by hand. prob take u about ten minutes, but itll relieve the pressure and save that nail most likely.

It was a strife shot, broke open the thumbs skin/meat, blood came gushing out.
I think I don't need to drill open the nail, there is very little blood under it.
Besides, the whole thumb is freaking sensitive and hurting really bad.
