We got very lucky in our area, lots of ice on the trees. If the wind had been a little higher, we would have been in trouble

I've had no end of trouble with them
When I drill the safety baffle out
With a 1/2 inch drill
I don't throw them away as quickly
As I do when they haven't been drilled.

The first few I thought I overtightened
The spout
Because the ring would split
So I barely put them on and they still would split.
Now I use 5 race gas jugs and am getting
3 gallon jugs for mix.

I have had mine for about 5 years now and it dont stop pouring on its own anymore when tank is full. Not a big deal though. I still like this can.
