That’s awesome, fishing isn’t like it used to be! Lol back in 96, I saw a 65lber on the scale, caught out of the same hole I was fishing, it was 54” long! There used to be some big ones. Now it’s been 3 years since I have heard of an over 40lb fish, mid 30’s is a monster now! Lol I honestly like to eat the 14-16 lb range. I fish a little north from were I grew up. Just as a perspective the fish in the middle is almost 23lbs and the other two were right around 20 and 18Nice! My biggest is 44.8 lbs which won me the king salmon derby in 2000 ($6000). Pretty exciting at the time but I haven't caught anything that size since.
