Thats the axle and springs that are under it.axle/springs look lil lighter than 3500lb to me.
4000 in this one eye built. 6 stud hubs n bout 2" spring packs

Not sure yet about how high i should do the side. Current trailernis 12 inchs and that dont seem tall enough for wood but will have much more space on this one. Old trailer is 5'x8'

The one frame rail is a little tweeked but it will be good enough for hauling firewood and atvs. Long as the axle is square with the tonque it will hall just fine. Most of the frame metal was free.I got a home brew trailer in the works. It started life as a 17 foot by 88" pallet for some press parts. But I'd like to find something more that a 3500 pound set up.
