Float plane came over the house, a neighbor got a quick pic of it loosing a oar, it was found about 100yrds from my place.

Forrest fire about 20 miles away, had eight of these skimmers I think 1450hp (Air tractors) loading @ the lake, quite impressive.

a down draft should keep the dust from getting everywhere, while hopefully keeping me cool at the same time.

It has nowhere near the sucking power I had hoped for. The design is somewhat unbalanced too in how it sucks 2-3 times more in the center than the outer halves, and they did attempt to even the flow by design. It does help keep the dust and metal chips down, though half of them end up on the table and not sucked into the holes. At high enough rpm and cutting with even a fine double cut burr it can still throw chips off the table. I guess I had 2-4000cfm in mind instead of 400-800

It was really cool performing a smoke test to track the air flow, I found a few vortexes

We built my niece a 3/4 wrap around deck around a 12x12 insulated rodent proof building.
Of all things she traded a Plymouth neon for the building.
We are going to put railings and vinyl siding on it.
