Actually thinking of welding some 1/4” plate on either side and then capping the bottom, or maybe some 2x4 angle.

It’s an 03 Ram Cummins so I need to try and save it. Not sure I want to get into a full frame swap but who knows...

I am going to start a Cummins transplant onto GM.
I just bid and won a newish 96 5.9 that was on a emergency fire pump.Not even broke in yet and painted a nice fire red

Fixed the issue with the tractor shifter jumping out of the 1st/reverse rod and jamming the the transmission into two gears. Factory fix is weld 1/4" key stock to the rods as a "guard rail" so to say. Repaired the reverse detent as it was badly worn.
