Belt PTO! We could use that for our saw mill. Haven't been able to figure out how to go about it without a belt drive.

This tractor never had one. I think they look silly without one. I finially found an affordable drive on ebay last year and added it.

Have any ideas hwo we could go about adding one to a newish Case tractor without breaking the bank? Or are there any other options?

ETA - I was considering welding a motorcycle sprocket on to the thing and running a little honda engine to it. It has to be inside a shed, so would rather not go with two stroke :( Cough

Learned early on not to use gaskets on old tractors because of pitted or warped sealing surfaces. When i built this engine i had to tear it all apart to throw away all the gaskets and use right stuff. This is the only sealant i use. Even holds up against trans fluid.

I was thinking I might remove the wheel and bolt or weld on a v drive so I can simply hook up one of our old riding mower engines to it. 12HP oughtta power a buzz saw OK. It's just finding the time.

The only gasket in the engines that we make is a head gasket. Every other surface gets what you just used, applied by robots. It works great as long as the surface is oil/grease free upon application.
