Got an IH cub in the shop. Got a case of the sitting in the woods for too long. Put a battery in it and it cranked real slow followed by smoke under the platform. Looks like taping two 2 gauge wires together is not an industry standard repair...

I would have liked to "lift" it. I enjoyed running the knuckle boom, a lot more than carrying the drywallIt’s a 5.5 x 18 x 41’. It’s not something you want to lift! Lol
Is that a Canadian poundWas lookin at this little 5 h.p. merc that runs on propane and the sails dip sshit comesnover yacking about it and saying hownyou can run the on little 1 pound campingbtanks or 20 pound bbq tanks.
So i ask how long does it run on on a one pounder and he says half hour. I think oh cool. Then he says and about 4 hours on the 20 pound. I say oh wow. It gets better fuel milage on the one pound then the 20 and just walk away. Lol.![]()

Thats a nice trench you cut in the snow there! How you likin it?
I can see it being a fun and challenging job at times! And then you see all of those YouTube videos of cranes toppling over…I would have liked to "lift" it. I enjoyed running the knuckle boom, a lot more than carrying the drywall.
I lost a couple yrs of pictures because of a bad card, had all the cool pics I took on jobs. Most were hard to get a feel for what was going on anyway, but I had no problem getting a lift of boards about anywhere the boom would reach. Had a lot of fun running them.
