The 2.4 was pretty much ran low on oil, skipped time and bent all the intake valves.
Extended warranty on that one. They sent the engine too. After they paid me to remove the cylinder head, they didnt believe me the valves were bent..

In my experience, that is one of GM's better engines.

Working on an 86ish Trx250r motor with a 330 kit, it’s a mess! On tear down it needs a new crank bearings seals, transmission output shaft, clutch basket, shifter bushing, second gear, replacement cases and a new piston! Wow! That thing has seen some use!
It’s seen some use! And an idiot put it together! They put the clutch lock washer on backwards, so it wasn’t doing anything! The hub had an 1/8 inch of play, it should have none, and they also forgot the shifter bushing along with the 1” long starter bushing! It’s a mess, I have everything but the bearings and gaskets to fix it, but it’s going to be spendy!

Heh. I think this stuff is tygon? ANdrew can pipe in here as he sent it with the old jug. It looks and feel like tygon anyways.
I made the little fingers after I ran some water in the jug and it seemed to swirl a bit weakly at the intake side. I was relieved when I ran it again after I finished the fingers and saw how nice and strong and even the flow was. It sounded great and revved real nice. But I was mostly very happy when I shoved this thing in to some wood and it flat out performs. That 241 is a strong saw; it has compromised stratos, the new upgraded euro MTronic carb, 200psi compression, and ported all to hell - and the lil 4300 deserves to be in the same video. And I haven't even touched the other transfers on the 4300. After a tank of fuel, it sounds very nice. Got a good crackle to it.

Yeah Iam pretty sure it is
