I like my Foley for round ground. I wish mine had the stand and a diamond wheel like that.
In what model it is. I was hoping it could be made to do square but I'll be ok if it does a good job with round ground.

I drove an hour to meet the guy and he wasn't there. Little pissed about that. I guess I'm going to try again tomorrow after work. I'm calling him at lunch this time and telling him I'll be there 4:30-5. I'll chalk it up to poor communication. Doesnt help he doesnt do cell phone and never seems to answer the land line phone...

I have a Stihl USG grinder. I’ve used it a handful of times, but I’m lazy... so for $6 a pop I take my chains to my local dealer and let him grind them.

$5 on my Depts account. It would be 60 chains to be an almost break even point on a avg grinder for me

Is it a 308? I don't believe it will tilt far enough to do square if it is.

I dont have anything other than the picture I posted. The stand looks nice and is a selling point for me. I could by an Oregon grinder for $300 that does the same thing but it doesnt have a nice vice, might and stand and doesnt look serviceable like the old iron. Plus it has a diamond wheel... I'm hoping he has a chain break and spinner and chain I can pick up from him as well.

Looking good! Whats your estimated completion date?
Mid to late June, we have already had several delays, the one right now is the metal roof, several panels were damaged, so that was a week out! We have until October in the contract, but want to get if done we’ll before that

Do these meet code there? I won't use hurricane clips ever again!

No they don’t, the whole project was engineered so we have to go with what is called out anyway. I asked a few years ago about using them and other screws, they only let us use sds screws here, they told me that the other screw were too brittle for structural use, They can bend one way but they can’t bend back, without breaking
