So i was putting a starter on my truck after work and it shifted half way up on the rack. Literally my frame just ripped in half! Guess I'm gonna have to move the restoration up on the priorities list.

My buddy just finished up making one of those out of 3 or 4, he may have a decent frame, bit of a drive though.
His truck is very clean no rust and I think he had another real clean f250 that had a small cab fire.

Just weld some channel on there.

Fug that kia.

Remember, i just picked up this rust free parts truck with a beautiful frame last Friday. Talked to the wife and made a plan. Will build the frame. Blasted and powedcoated. New springs, mountings, brale lines/hoses, and other tid bits. Then will move my rotted out body onto the new frame. Then when the account gets replenished, ill send the rust free body parts to a shop to get painted. That way I'll only be without a truck for a few months instead of years. Got to have a truck for hay season!

I don't know if I saw that, haven't been in this thread in a while and just popped back in.
Sounds like a plan, I like those trucks.
I just found(sort of) 95 extended 3/4 ton long box up here that's never seen salt(came up from cali a few yrs ago), it's pretty sweet looking, not sure it will work for me/us right now though. Then theres the price, it's not bad when I think of what it would take to build a nice one, but it's a bit more than I really want to drop on one right now. The sort of part is the truck kinda found me. Guy calls me and is talking to me about hauling a load, I said who are you looking for and he says Brett, I said I'm Brett, but it's been a while since I've driven truck. Ends up we got to talking(I know imagine that) and before long he's telling me about this truck lol.
