Put a flapper thingy in her nose...[emoji38]
I reckon that's gonna be next.

So...... little misunderstanding about this truck, mone on that in a sec. I went and test drove it and crawled all over it. Here's what I noticed...
Now, you might be wondering why I'd be so picky about all that given the price. However, I got talking with the guy and there was a big misunderstanding. Apparently when he told me that he was "asking 14 (fourteen) but would take 12 (twelve)" he meant thousand and not hundred!
- no front drive shaft installed
- shifter/linkage for the transfer case not installed
- Missing lower bell housing cover
- Broken driver's side rear spring
- Leaking front engine seal
- Possibly leaking rear oil pan seal
- Trans and transfer case support brackets not hooked up
- No crank case breather hooked up
- Home made oil fill hole in valve cover weeping oil all over brake booster and valve cover
- Weeping coolant
- Brake booster is from per 80's era, truck is register as '86
- No body filler or patch panels but paint has scratches, chips and a dent in the hood
- Tires are dry rotted and checked hard
- Turn signals won't clear after turning
- Truck pulls right when breaking
- Bench seat cover was trash
It didn't register when we first talked when he just said 14/12 for price. I did wonder why it wasn't sold yet for that price but I wasn't going to ask, just figured given everything I noticed it was still a project truck.
I follow the market for these trucks closely and there no way this truck is a $12k truck. The guy is smoking.
On a good day I could see the truck selling for 4-6k.
We had one that wouldn't stop nursing even with the flapper.(he broke it in short order). Dad finally gave up and let him have his way. He was a complete pita but it was some of the best tasting beef we ever raised.I reckon that's gonna be next.

That should keep them happy for awhile.Where we just fenced. They like it pretty well. Hay field is to my back. About twenty acres.

I think the guy could get close to $4k as it sits because the body/frame has no rust. He has the transfer shifter/linkage, the front drive shaft, and is ordering a new rear spring (said he put it in before it sold). If he wasn't out to lunch (and I could afford it) I'd start an offer at $3k. I do believe there's idiots out there that would probably buy it for as much as $6k.Wait are you saying 4-6k for the truck as it is now?

The rings aren't pleasant but sometimes necessary. A foot or so of chain added will take some of the mean out of a Jersey bull.I've got three different pastures I could turn her into. But...if I put her in with the bulls, she will come in heat too soon. With the cows, and she's back on her momma. And, well, you know about the heifers.
Gonna try the ring....then back with the heifers.
You west coast guys make me sick. The trucks last forever.Today I saw a rust free ‘84 6.2 K20 for $1,100...already sold. 6.2 is valuable here because ya don’t have to smog it.

That looks plush. What year? What's it have for an engine, does it have the 500 or 472?
It's very nice.It was a random pic (truly). The wife and I came out of a Mexican place we like -- and here it sat. I believe it may be a 64? Have no clue on the engine etc.
I had just discovered America in mid 64
