Been my favorite NP so far , was there last September, I hiked all over the interior, View attachment 441062

We were there in August. The number of people there was crazy. Nothing like we remembered.
It also didn't help with getting in much hiking that our daughter's decided to crank up the teenage angst on the drive there and then go into a "nature is stupid" phase during that time period.

My dad and brother decided to resurrect the "sheep shed" before the snow really flies. Built in 1880, this was an auxiliary building to the main barn. I have helped a bit, but have been absent from much of it. Probably won't get the upper level done this year, but with the floor on we can run a torpedo heater and continue to butter the stone walls back together on the inside.
