It's about 12", works well on non woody 8ft tall weeds, or green woody stems up to 1/2", except pushing cut weeds that big after they fall on the shaft is difficult. It's heavy and can vibrate a lot from not having a large diameter steel mid section, but it is precision balanced.

The old Windsor "Tri Knife" blades are about the best thing for an application like that. You can still find them new old stock at long-time mom and pop stores.

Stihl has a 3 blade. My trimmer doesn't have the right shaft or hub size, and I already had the mower blade. The trimmer was free too. It's been going through 1" juniper today. I have an old circular saw blade for it too that cuts bigger wood smoothly.

Redneckery at its finest. I don't have an air bead seater since I only do this occasionally on trailer tires or lawn mowers. Did the lighting the brake fluid a few times in the past but this is more safer.

Trash I picked up during my walk with the pup today.

Copper wire, the one piece was resting in the remnants of a brush burn pile.

Multiple trim line pieces, they are everywhere.

Bottle and beer cans, each is worth a 0.10$ refund in the supermarket.

We all have a drawer or box full of old cables and chargers, well someone tossed theirs into a brush pile.

All of it will get recycled or disposed of properly.
I may keep some of the chargers if they are functional, especially that HP laptop charger.
There is also a Logitech BT headset with charger in there.
