My friend at work needed a saw he'd fried a 021 he borrowed off a neighbor IMG_20240626_231054.jpg
I guess he intended to chunk it down with a little sawIMG_20240626_231114.jpg
Him and his nephew just climbed a ladder and slashed through limbs letting them fallIMG_20240626_231041.jpg
My saw scared him a ported clone 372 with a 272 popup it's pretty stout.
I have a pile of clone saws i loan outIMG_20240626_231045.jpg
They were amazed how much better it cuts than a damn 021IMG_20240630_103102.jpg
He was nervous about blocking it up with my saw it probably would've took 30 minutes
Instead he used a sawzall in 95*+ temperatures
For 5 day's used 9 blades to cut it up.

Sawzall wasn't long enough to block with so he went back to the 372IMG_20240706_182440.jpgIMG_20240706_182430.jpgIMG_20240706_182502.jpg
He returned it to me after he jumped the chain and said it wouldn't cut anymore IMG_20240710_090907.jpgIMG_20240710_090929.jpg
He'd put the chain on backwards and outer spike upside down
And completely lost the inner spike
He bought me a new bar and chain for letting him use the saw.

Thought about you and Ed @redline4 today when I was making a delivery just a little ways from the house. Car in a lean-to carport with various parts and a battery on top of the carport. The car had no tires and was resting on 4 batteries. If I go back there some time I'll try to get a picture.

Ed's a little more classy than that. He blocks his projects up on Pin Oak rounds.

Beaglebriar ported a non decomp 288 for meIMG_20240708_105632.jpgIMG_20240708_105757.jpgIMG_20240707_123429.jpg
I put a Duke's 066 piston in it dj cut a pop-up in it
It's much lighter than a 288 piston so i wanted to try itIMG_20240718_163537.jpg
It's very strong saw with a lot of balls to it through the powerband
IMG_20240718_030111.jpg
It's the highest compression saw I've ever started
So i bought one of these unbreakable handles.
Might send it back for a decomp
It's like lifting a 5 gallon bucket of concrete with a fishing line.
