Me and the family on first trip to Vegas walked the ‘block’ from Balleys to MGM Grand. 104 degrees. Once was more than enuff.
Yeah, one block is like 4 or 5 normal blocks lol. Still not as far as we walked though (I believe). And yes, it was June when we were there, idk how hot it was but we got smart and crossed the road to walk in the shade lol. That section of Vegas is a little shady. We were the only ones walking on the street once we past the space needle.

At work B4 I retired, we moved the building on the left, it is a working telephone office, the person who the fone co rented the land from tried to hold them ransom, we moved it two blocks while it was still working,,,
My truck is the basket truck on the left. Great job.

In the drag racing world(which you know I'm right smack dab in the middle of) we call that "Swiss Cheese", it's commonly used as a weight reduction technique.

Power house in Sandon BC, this has been running for over 100 years.

Some place in Illinois or Indiana there is a ‘powerhouse graveyard’.

Huge collection of old steam engine driven generators and such from the turn of the century (19th).

Meh, no weeds, lawn looked like a golf course. Goats!

This is powered by water, from a cedar stave pipe, pipe is currently being replaced. Water comes from a lake quite high above the power house. Quite the tour.
