We get about $250 per car, but last year was $500-700…. And we sell any that are good enough to sell. We are in a rural area, and don’t have a lot of DOT cops around.. very slim chance of getting busted. Last time we got passed by a local cop and he gave us an escort out of there! We don’t get anything for scrap cars here. I now have to haul them 100 miles to pay someone $100 each to take them if they are drained and don’t have tires. I have a 53 ft double drop and if I put more than 4 on there DOT requires me to have any stacked on top of each other to be cabled together and if they are crushed then the load has to be netted.
Can’t more rural than here. But there is a scale in the big city and they feel importantWe get about $250 per car, but last year was $500-700…. And we sell any that are good enough to sell. Only a small scale between us and the yard where we take the cars.. and it’s only open about 1 day a week. Last time we pulled into the scale with six cars, the DOT cop just waved us through. It seems like they’re only interested in big trucks. Can’t more rural than here. But there is a scale in the big city and they feel important

What is the story on the bird?
I walked into the shop and heard rustling/scratching at the window, I figured it was a mouse but it was that guy. Best I can figure is he flew through an open door and couldn't find his way out. So, I brought him outside and he went his merry way. What is the story on the bird?
