Also found this beauty today. Made in the 1960's by a firm in Connecticut whose name I don't remember, pretty rare to find a basic 7/8" wick oil lamp with a shade:

IF she beat the cable clamps down onto the posts, that would be why she's got experience at quick swaping.
whacking on the posts breaks them loose and you get more corrosion right away.

Watched her just twist them off and on. Probably needs an alternator but it is easier to swap a battery.

I think Ed's just been scamming me all these years. Everytime I call on them he says the estimate has gone up because of the price of steel and custom is expensive. I really want these pipes so I just send him more money. Whatcha gonna do? I'm too busy to do the kind of customs work he can do with a flux welder an a bastard file.

Reminds me of when the heater core on my '87 Mustang puked at a gas station. I bypassed it then and there by connecting the two hoses with the original hose clamps and a flush tee I had in the glove box. Filled it up with water from the gas station and called it good until it got too cold not to have heat!
