Local fall festival yesterday. Boy is in the high school band so I took a break from the tractor to go watch. Little parade and the jazz band preformed afterward. Kinfolks of ours do some gospel singing there every year as well, so we try to get over to listen and gossip a bit afterward. Didn't make it into the mansion to walk around this year, but have several times in the past. One of the rooms has a floor that is painted black due to the amount of blood that was soaked into the boards. Used as a hospital site and amputations were the main thing done at that time.
