That one has been a work in progress. Rescued it from a pawn shop for $200.00 and it actually looked even worse before. Had the common light strikes issue, resolved by a stronger hammer spring and modifying the hammer strut. Added a 3/32 white bead front sight and Williams FP receiver sight. Feed the rifle 24 grains Hodgdon 335 under a 150 grain lead slug and it shoots as well as I can do.

how high are ya? We’re at about 2900 feet elevation. It snowed steady for about 12 hours yesterday and then all day today.
~2000' give or take. Our snow mighta been deeper but it got warm enough it rained for spells instead of straight snow the whole time.

I know this is normal for alotta you but it’s causing chaos for most people around here. Tree’s are down everywhere!!! I’ve cut probably a dozen out of the road today.

Where I live in Kentucky we get snow like that about once a decade. I live out in the country in the hills so people are pretty accustomed to driving in slick or rough conditions even though we don't get that much snow. Now in the cities where people aren't used to snow the roads can become parking lots. The worst ones are those who think that because they drive an SUV they can just drive in their normal crazy way. During the big snow of '21, I drove my 2wd Ford Ranger past many of them in ditches. It's all about the technique!
