Egan straight shot muffler cover, then I would like to install a mint or new slant fin jug from a 10mm 044 on it. I was always very happy years ago sawing with a bone stock 10mm 044. The saw that I upgraded to was a 046mag, which wasn't much more grunt than the 10mm 044, but it seemed like it weighed a ton more. Granted I was only 18 or 19 years old at the time. Years later i bought a new ms440 in 2005 and its was quite a turd in stock form, so I traded it at the dealer for a new ms460, which i had them install a DP muffler cover on that one, what a runner that one was, probably fell, climbed and bucked 2 million board feet of timber with that saw, then she spun a crank bearing. Didn't owe me a dime though, actually I was happy to retire that saw and try the then new 441 which turned out to be the biggest turd of a saw I've ever operated. Another story another time lol

This was my first ms440, sawed with it all summer of 2005 up homestead creek st joe national forest. All yarder corridors, cuttin for a Skget sj-7 swing yarder. Paid gyppo, $1.75 per tree fell. Average of 70 trees a day cause I wasn't that good of a feller yet! Now I'm even slower, because my body aged lol.

Another 044 i had 2009ish, cutting on a private strip, power line right of way. That job sucked, all those Doug Firs needed wedged to fell into the lay.

Felling oversize larch on a plum creek timber sale, Pete creek, in the Yaak river area of western montana. I cut Burls from those larches, made some bucks on the side selling em. Saw was a 2100xp, with 2101 thin ring piston, and front exit 285 muffler. 2006 ish

Car has 63k on it. Customer went almost 10k over on the oil change so depending on the interval selected could be almost 20k on this oil change. Never checked or topped the oil untill the oil light and check engine light came on. Too late, chain came slack and smacked the valve cover breaking it. Used engine installed is 14-15k!!

My sister did the repeatedly to her 96 jeep grand Cherokee. Thing lived to 300k...... Good ol 4.0... And a bunch of luck!
