Good haul

There's 9 more piles as big or bigger than these scattered down the road.
There's 3 more piles by this stuff I didn't take pictures of.
It looks like scorched earth. Crap all over the road. Stumps range from ground level to 4'. Multiple cuts, sloping back cuts, you name it.
I'm definitely not even close to a tree professional but these guys aren't doing a very good job in my book.
The guys the power company contracted are legit though. Clean area they were in, brush chipped, logs piled nicely. Unfortunately they only did a small portion where the lines are above ground and poles are being replaced.

Afternoon Ed. How are you?
What transmission and what are we looking at?
Yesterday I dropped the pan on my wife's 2015 Yukon and did a drain, new filter and refill... Oh what fun having to lift the transmission and pull the exhaust down to get the pan out.
I was going to install my Shift Technology bypass kit but I ran out of time. Dad got a new 9.9 Yamaha kicker motor to go after some Stealhead so I helped him get that set up.
Thoughts on the bypass kit?

No legit complaints!

That trans is a 10 speed in a 22 half ton. I was replacing the valve body. Not a common issue.

Good to know, thanks Ed.
Ya learn something new everyday.
The more I learn the more I realize what I don't know.

I've been in the auto industry for a while.
The guys who claim to know it all are clowns.
Always something new or different or similar yet "different" issue.

ICP sensor lives way in the back on the early 6.0s. Been throwing a code so I put in a new one. Had a new power steering pump to put on anyway so I took care of that as well. All buttoned up and running just in time to see the local fire department come out and put out a grass fire just west of me.

I played with a Ford today too Tony.

That looks easier to work on. Didn't know Fords had a service mode on them. My chest kind of hurts a bit from laying on the engine so much yesterday. ICP is a hard reach for someone my size. What are you doing to the truck now?

Are you just going to keep one on the engine stand at the ready from now on? I kinda remember you saying something about a problem with it a bit back, but there is too much going on most of the time to remember everything. Had to put on a new boot on the daughters passat after she went off roading a couple weeks back. I was checking it out again and noticed grease everywhere on that side. Neat little hole so once again I pulled the axle and fixed it up. Gave up buying brake cleaner in the cans. 5 gallons at a time is where it is at.
