Chevy is just as silly with overlapping body styles! A body style should be a body style, each update in a body style could be a generation of that style

why did the square chevy blazer and suburban go to 91, and all of the Chevy “ classic” bodies!! Lol
Crewcabs continued to 91 as well

And then On those early 99 7.3 power strokes they used a different turbo setup than both the OBS and Later 7.3’s. Ford was doing all kinds of odd stuff around then….

Yup! We had one of those. Was a 4/98 build date. Was a chore to get all the right parts to fix the turbo and up pipes when that went to hell. Even was a couple tries at the dealer to get the right parts and ended up sending the turbo out to a turbo rebuilder to get repaired.
Had a late 99 with a ZF6. It went down the road just a couple miles away from me and I still see it around. Sold it for more than I gave for it, but I also had done some work on it and everything I did was motorcraft parts.

My 12ga Mossberg Shockwave fills the same role but I run the mini shells for maximum rounds.
I use plain jane 2 3/4" #1 buckshot normally.
I just dont care for the little rubber piece you have to use on loading gate with the mini-shells.
Not dogging em, I've never tried em.
Just didnt care for that little added piece.
Anyway around that?

Not that I know of. I run that little made in Texas rubber plate and never had any issues with the mini shells.

Mossy now makes one that will eat minishells up to 3" interchangeably.
