You heard anything about the 2.3 Ecoboom in the Mustang? I'm thinking about it for my next car. The old SOHC 2.3 was one of the best engines FoMoCo ever made, I love those things. My Ranger has the later 2.5 version.

All 4 cyl Ecoboost engines are junk. Lots of head gasket failures and excessive over engineering. The 2.0 and 2.3 are the worst.

The old sohc 8v engines to the new 2.3 Ecoboost is like comparing apples to tires. Just no comparison any way you look at it.

Thanks bro, will remember that! I figured it was too good to be true. Other than the 'Stang ( and NOT that phony electric crossover thing) I've completely given up on domestic marques. Overpriced junk filled with useless gimmicks is all they are nowadays. If I'm going to get reamed on price for a vehicle it better be quality, and only Japanese brands have it today.

My wifes hometown, Selma.
A good portion of the city is in ruins. Never seen so much downed hardwood in my life.
Mostly pecan & pin oak!

Some folks are homeless, many were insured--many were not.
Hmm...nobody's exempt from storms.

In retrospect I'm grateful for what's left, and that storms never take everything!

All of you that believe & know the power of prayer, please send up some prayers for Selma.
Much obliged!20230120_145654.jpg 20230120_151935.jpg 20230120_154721.jpg 20230120_145658.jpg 20230120_152406.jpg

I 'spose I should at least check the lash while I've got the valve covers off. We never did it on Toyotas unless we were reconning the heads.

All Hondas are adjustable with standard screw and jamb nut rockers. I believe the maintenance interval for lash check is every 120k.

Can't like that at all - that's a mess.

Be praying with and for you and everyone there. For the cleanup and rebuild.
