We also completely trashed a 1969 roadrunner. Did not know any better back in the day. But I did not wreck my two Pontiac Firebirds . I had 2 Firebirds a 1967 and a 1968 and loved them both. We ended up dragging them in the woods. ( Again if only I knew ) I would be rich!!

Toured Greenfield Village in Dearborn Michigan today. Made a mini candle holder in the machine shop. Made a glass flower for the wife in the glassworks shop. So many hands on experiences. Learned so much about what life was like for our ancestors. Will be visiting the area again.IMG_20170708_140336759.jpg IMG_20170708_133732656.jpg IMG_20170708_102058407.jpg

Well after what seemed like days of body work on the back of the cab I was finally able to seal it in epoxy primer. Almost done with the passenger side rocker panel and might be priming that in Thursday or Friday....hell then002 (13).JPG 001 (11).JPG 003 (12).JPG it's off to block sanding the fire wall...putting some urethane primer down...block sanding that and then laying some color! :aplastao:

What color will you be using? What type/ brand of paint? I have been having good luck with water based Auto Air paint under a solvent based two part clear

Blue and silver will be my colors, doing a two tone. Been using Eastwood products with decent results so far.

Worked in Philly last year and went to the Eastwood store. Talk about a kid in a candy store. Real easy to drop loot fast in that place. Especially when dealing with paint. Some prices for these materials are ridiculous.
