Just about out of room. 4 rows in the one pile and 3 in the other.

Off topic. Just wondering what you run for injection oil. I still rum mercs optimax oil. But its pricey at 60 bucks a jug.

There is no such thing as off topic. I use Mercury/Quicksilver DFI oil. Buy it online three at a time for about $40 gallon. A lot of discussion on several boards I read about oil use in a Optimax and when they first came out you were told you could use regular 2 stroke oil. Later they changed that to only DFI oil. This motors reservoir looks to have had regular oil by the staining at one point.

Next time I am down I'll bring you some real good gdi injector cleaner to keep them squirting properly.
Any issue in running it in a 2 smoke? Been using mercury's additives for the last year or so to try to clean up some of these problems. Quickleen, quickstor and quickare are the ones recommended for outboards.

I can't like that enough. My dad, two of my uncles, both my grandads, and two of my great uncles were all veterans. My one grandad was a gunner's mate on a destroyer that was sunk in WWII.

He and the other survivors were on the open ocean for two days before they were picked up.

No idea. But it melts away the carbon on the tops of the pistons and injector nozzles on a 4 stroke. Literally look brand new after the service.

One of said broken ACs, the old one for my shop...waiting for my 2 ton mini split to be installed...with the heat wave everyone’s ACs are going down and the AC guy hasn’t had time. Might have to learn myself. Can probably scare up and adapt a motor for Old Faithful.
