Just got a low mileage create vortech, one of the 300 hp, And I do have one I was building for my blazer that still isn’t done! LOL it’s got a flat top roller cam short block, Just need install cam bearings and finish assembly, have a set of ported heads with LS three beehive Springs

Speaking of exhaust systems. Daughter said her 2010 Nissan Rogue was noisy......

Pictures are of the top of muffler. Seems odd to rot on the top.

Just taking a stock Vortech 350, and putting a carburetor manifold bring some to almost 300 hp, and I’ve seen some well tune stock Motors make 350 with airgap intake and headers! The GM hot cam, it’s just the LT4 cam out of the performance package for the Corvette, I have a local cam grinder that grounds me roller cams in those specs for about 125 bucks, the only kicker is is his cores don’t have a fuel pump lob. LS3 springs and comp retainers cost around 100 125 bucks, Got a set of Malhe hypertechnic flat tops for 150 bucks on eBay, Finding a good core is pretty easy as well, as you know a bazillion suburbans had them

Nissan's build horrible exhaust. But I'm pretty sure the rouges are built by Renault. That doesn't help either.

I've ran the number on those and Ive seen what a cammed 4.8 would achieve.

I probably won't put more than fuel oil and air in to this bucket. 20200831_153940.jpg
