Was the house made of toothpicks?
I can understand breaking through the roof but also the floor?
Did the tree break or uproot?
I awoke last night to the sounds of a squirrel being torn apart by an owl, he didn't like being woke up either.
One day you're the windshield, next day you're the bug.
Yeah... This was my parents house. Thats only half of the tree. The house broke the tree over the top of it and the other half was laying in street on other side of house. His comment is well placed. You don't know much about the force of nature and physics do you...
Take a REAL good look...

It only broke 5 2x6s. The old pine in this house and dried and hard af.
The tree was a 140' hemlock.
It isn't eve close to well placed.
This oak tree struck this house at full speed at it's upper end..plus it's downhill..
Had this tree been 20ft away from the house and hit it in the middle section of the tree the damage would have been a fraction of what it is...it had time to build speed before it hit.
The futher away you are from a flagpole if it fell and hit you the more damage it's gonna do..like I said..physics.
Plus I like picking on wayne.
Like I said circumstance.
We could debate this all day that tree in photo was small compared to that hemlock. Those photos only show half of one of the tree trunks. The other half is on the other side of house. Where it broke over the top of house.
