Dug these out of my papaws garage today. The Remington has a good story behind it. It was one stolen and then found under a bridge back in the late 80s.
Unquie tip on the little bandit saw.

Anybody know anything about this Remington? Worth fixin it up and playing with it for kicks?

That tip was pretty common on older poulan saws back in the 80's. think I have a couple somewhere.

That's a banana bar, does that saw have a power sharp option on the clutch cover

This was a garage find of someone from CL that I found this past summer. A Mercury Diston D-101

I picked it up thinking it would make a good wall hanger, or restoration project. At this point i doubt that will happen.

I need to look at my 754 a little closer. They are 80+ cc I know that much. Mine was found in a barn by a friend that had recently bought the farm and he gave it to me. Out of curiosity what's the compression on yours, mine was 120 last I checked it.

Echo CST 600EVL, was used for 5 hours by a BMW bike enthusiast who HAD to own a twin chainsaw, then drained and put back in the original box, then into a cupboard in the garage until I stumbled across it many years later.
Near mint,and with spares

The banana bars or "shark nose" bars were an early attempt at reducing kickback. They can't be run upside down so they wear out quickly. A lot of them were on Poulans.

Do you still need an ignition for it?

That's good, I was given a 181 that looks like a truck ran it over. But I think the ignition and carb are still good. I'm glad you had spare parts, I'm tempted to keep this one for the same reason.
