I ported my 350 several years ago, and had to tear it down because the lower case was warped, causing an air leak. It has been sitting in a box ever since, but I dug it out this weekend and put it back together. I have 4 tanks through it now. I had my son take a video of it tonight.

If you have a warped exhaust port, you can draw file it with a bastard file & the gaskets seat better as a result.

Saw looks good. The stump in the background doesn't. I'm guilty of making some bad cuts in the past but I've learned better. It's much safer to learn how to drop them properly. Your face cut is way too deep and could cause a unexpected barberchair situation and the sloping back cut offers little to no control. @Philbert has a great thread to learn proper techniques.

Not trying to be a dik. Just want you to be safe.

Steve- I didn't cut the tree down. I should have put that in the first post. I was cutting at a local park where they have college kids thinning trees. They need to learn how to cut. They leave stacks of firewood on occasion and it ranges fron 6"-30" long in the same pile. Drives me nuts. They also leave punji sticks when cutting saplings and bushes. It's a real hazard area right now. I can cut anything that is down. It's only about a mile from the house, so I don't mind a little resaw time for the convenience. I have been trying to get there when they are working so I can help them learn how to cut, but so far no dice. You should see some of the stumps they leave, it's amazing nobody has died yet. You don't just hand a college kid a saw with no instruction or knowledgeable supervisor.

The effort is appreciated, but they need to get it together.

Thanks. I think t4driller and I do it about the same. I just saw his picture of the jb weld in the lower transfers and thought it was mine! It looks exactly the same except for the background. I put some in the uppers as well. Our timing numbers are almost dead nuts as well. Torque rules, and the more rpm's you can get without losing it, the more wood you can cut. The power band is wide.

I'm glad to have this one running again. My back can't take the strain of my bigger saw for long, so it will be used on bigger wood while the 350 gets put in the daily driver seat.
