Is the max flow running leaner ?? with the higher temps and faster speed. The 661 should compensate for the A/F. Just a few thoughts.

The MaxFlow allows more air, which will use more fuel to make more power ......... More power will allways make more heat

You Flir readings are probably off, as you can't use those on bare metal reliably. Read about emissivity in your manual for it.

Nope, just a little bump in compression and some grinding here and there

It got pretty effin strong too !!

Good to know! I have the HD and HD2 filters. I put the HD2 on my 460 with a muffler mod. Gonna try it out on some hard oak Saturday.
