Peak industry chains

Hi guys,

My usual chain supplier sent me a free new chain. Peak Industry, probably built in china.

Freshly filed, I tried it today, and I must say I'm impressed. Teeth looks like Husqvarna C85, drive links like Stihl RSC.

I'll work with it for a few days in some really hard wood, and I'll let you know my opinion.

As a pro, you will have your chain set up for the fiber/dryness/power thus I am sure you will have great results.

Me, a fresh out of the box chain impedes cutting performance due to the variable raker/tooth lenghts out of the factory.

Yes it is chinese made.
I was sent 3 samples from Peak, 3/8 semi chisel, 3/8 full chisel and 404 semi chisel.
It all performed very well, very little stretch and held its edge well.
