Thank you for sharing. That chainsaw is indeed super. Is there anyway you can post pictures of the old factory? Do you know any locals that used to work at the partner factory before the take over?

I think about 1980 Partner move to a new build factory in an area of Mölndal or the south part on the other side of highway. I think the street name is Heliumgatan. (Gata,gatan= street "in side a city limit")(Road=Väg,vägen "other part of the country out side a city limit") It's close this street to the big Medical company Astra Zenica. About the new Husqvarna XPG FI 62,4cc "the new one with fuel injection...) It's sold out/delayed January MAYBE. It's was the same when I was buying the then new 592 XPG 92cc. Back to Partner P100 Super and spare parts. Cylinder and piston it's now on ebay nov 2025. The clutch as I mention 3 piece same as the Partner with the small crankcase 55-65cc. I have heard that the Husqvarna 272 coil can replace the Partner Ignitron. Anybody here that have used the 272 coil on the P100? I did finde a brand new cylinder and piston. It was sold as 440 cylinder. But the Partner spare part number was the same as for the P100. Why I did buy? 60 US$ and it was sold in Europe inside EU so no import fee. Sumtimes you can finde parts at a second hand chainsaw dealer. Anyway what about the color code for Partner brand yellow?

I see you are in Gothenburg. Does Volvo still have a big operation there? Does Volvo dominate auto sales in Sweden? Over here, Volvo is now primarily known for commercial trucks and they compete well with Peterbilt, Kenworth, and Freightliner. Volvo still sells cars here but they aren't nearly as popular as they used to be. Most people who want to buy a car at that price point automatically go German or Japanese. Subaru has taken away most of the market share for AWD vehicles that Volvo used to have.

Picked up this X21 today, very hard saw to find.
Hope to find its missing muffler and gear cover when I go back for another load of saws.

Volvo small car is not Swedish any more. You can read your self on line about VOLVO and it's History. This is a Chain saw site. Partner P100 is the name of the game right now. Any more parts info for Partner? Like old dealer with NOS parts?

Regarding the p-100's I found that model easier to find parts for than the little 3 cubers ,500 and 5000 plus . .It did however take me a lot of research to rebuilt my two p-100's during the covid lock down plus two years to find all the parts . The brand as far as chainsaws was never popular in this part of the USA although it was a very good product .Some parts will interchange with other brands and some can be adapted .One example is a Husqvarna 272 ignition coil as a replacement for Partner OEM which is nearly impossible to find . Bar plates for the P-100 are rare and costly but plates for a Husqvarna 2100 are inexpensive and so are bars as oppossed to Partner bars .I have all three McCulloch,Partner and Husqvarna .

Regarding my two restorations on the P-100's I haven't ran them long enough to even seat the piston rings since I did the work .

Yes you never know what you'll find in these lots, so far the x21 is the gem in this load.
There's a couple of stihls hidden in another part i havnt seen yet, hopefully they are worth the wait.
