What is it with all this Hooskie lingo?
XP
XPG
Confusing to me.
Just think of it as "Magnum"and "Arctic" in Stihl speak.
XP = Xtra P#$$y
G = G-spot(for [emoji117][emoji108])
There’s a fella named Jack Daniels.
Yes?
Jeff in Huskyland XP are professional saws and no XP typically not. Also the 300 and 500 series are typically considered pro (except those in 3 series with no XP like the 350 not considered pro and 555 on 500 series) and all 400 series husky considered homeowner or rancher/farmer... I.e. not pro saws. Clear as mud?Ahhh. OK. Now it is crystal clear! LOL
TY sir!
Any good consoling words for Gunner, after losing out on a sweet 262XP?
It was for a coil. Sort of an autotune type setup that was way before its time......
But a doobie fits in there. A small sammich. Maybe one of dem rubber ballons for protection if you know what I mean...what woman can resist a clean 262xpee.
This saw is sold pending payment.
BUT!
Dont be sad fellas, i have a minty fresh 254 for sale as well.
I will post that one tomorrow.
Lets not confuse Jeff to much, but I didn't see the 357xp in there, and that was more the replacement for the 262 iirc.Jeff in Huskyland XP are professional saws and no XP typically not. Some saws like 365 and 353 and even 350 have lots of pro features but not considered pro.... 555 is a detuned 562xp.
The 562xp is what replaced the 262xp.
Husky had a 362 that really doesn't compare to 262 and 563 IMHO.
More mud?
Usually the XP saws everyone likes... 346, 262, 562, 371, 372, 385, 390, 394, 395 are all XP saws. Also several additional 2 series and 5 series.

I've found the best way to learn them is to buy them all, you will learn a lot in short time, it's a lot of fun. If someone says it takes a lot of cash, I can tell you there are a lot of other hobbies that cost a lot more.What is it with all this Hooskie lingo?

Oh yeah... Forgot about the 357. I almost bought one as a 262 replacement but sprung for a 372 instead.Lets not confuse Jeff to much, but I didn't see the 357xp in there, and that was more the replacement for the 262 iirc.
The 359 was the same chassis with a different cylinder, both are enjoyable to run, and you build calluses so they only burn your skin for a short time time Jeff lol.
I have no words that are good enough for this situation.
Thank you!@RI Chevy Jeff this is one of the more sought after ones being it has the KS non-decomp cylinder and HDA-87 carb. Given it's all original is a huge plus too.
Price is great also given it's got the more rare (and better!) parts on it and original. If after pulling muffler the piston and cylinder look good I call it a no brainer!
If I didn't have the saw I have I would pick this up and send to Randy @Mastermind for bridge or finger ports or Doc @drf256 to really make it sing.
Nick has a great rep on Facebook too, so I'm sure he could make this saw sing too.
Actually Dan @paragonbuilder could make this thing fly too based on his recent work and results with various 262s from raffles etc.
It's so clean too -- I'm drooling really.
Jeff if you get this (for you or your friend) please bring to next GTG ... LOL.
