Oregon harvester presets

I ordered presets to fix some 18hx harvester chain and found the number for where my wife works. They came in today and when I was walking out I noticed there’s only 1/2 of the parts. I got a bag of 25 rivet halves with no plates. So order the plate half today, but why would they ever sell just half the master in a pack by itself. Every Stihl link I’ve ordered came in bags with all parts needed to rivet a chain together. This Oregon situation is completely stupid in my opinion, obviously someone needs both parts to make or fix a chain sell them together.

You also go and buy a new smartphone that supports super-hiper-extreme-fast charging BUT THE "SPECIAL" CHARGER IS SOLD SEPARATELY.

Your situation does sound rather dumb though.
It is called a preset/master link, it should include all individual parts needed!
