Old Jonesered Identification.

A neighbour of mine left in an old Jonesered to be sharpened. It's nearly all metal and very heavy.
Tag number next to the handle reads 1348726.

Also, what are some good ways to identify an 024 vs an 026? I bought one off the same guy and the tag no is worn off. The plate with the model no is gone too.

Air filter cover on the 026 is taller and the cylinder cover is flat all the way across. The 024 air filter cover is much shorter and the rear of the 024 cylinder cover slops back to match the height of the filter cover.
