Dogs get shot for chasing deer here Tor
that is a shame, that is how we hunt with our small dachs hund dog!

I dont have dachs hund dog at the moment, soon hopefully, if any should shoot a dog I own when we're hunting he can start to count down the minute/hours he has left to live, even my Singaporean wife would probleby give him a bullet! That is of oourse in Norway lol

I feel the same way about it. It would only happen if dog is running loose. Lots of guys hunt with dogs for bear or small game. I have never heard of anyone using to hunt deer only to track a deers blood trail. Not sure what the rules are on hunting deer with a dog would be. I just no if they are loose can be considered wild and would likely be shot as a coyote would.

i was just interested in what type rules your guys has, and yes, I can understand this coyote misunderstanding.

Dachs hund dog "Gunther", they can do no harm against a deer, those short legs a dachs hund dog got, they are kinda glued to the ground lol

No deer hunting with dogs in Michigan. We can use a dog to track a wounded deer though

That is very true Mike, I did well. She loves pets, we have even gone together on hunting with our dogs.
Picture is from one of the resting places in Mandal River, around 11.

Dachshund dogs are all business, no hunting or tracking deer with dogs in Wisconsin.

Little dog, big courage.

I don’t think we can even use a dog to track

Dogs, LMAO. No we can’t use dogs to track or hunt. The local clown... er uhm ... DNR said my son in-law couldn’t even help his dad gut & skin his deer without a license because that’s considered “participating in the hunt”. The Iowa DNR can’t find their own arse with both hands. They are more concerned with trying to make a $1 than they are about wildlife management.

That's sad.
