Yeah oak is good stuff. Seems white takes longer to dry than red.
No white around here that I'm aware of. The hill across the road is solid red oak. I have mostly softwood with 50 maples and 50 red oaks tossed in. Some ash and beech too, but it's new growth

How's baby girl doing?
She was sleeping when I got home from work my wife not happy with me for taking her along but when I came home with her medication this morning she already had left and went to work to see if there's anything little she could do so I believe she's going to be okay

I used to when I was a kid. Had a few that were 5 or 6' diameter. Half a dozen taps in each tree and you could watch a 5 gallon bucket fill up. I cut a 55 gallon drum in half for a fire and put a grate over top. Had a couple big pots burbling for daze. That was enough of that crap. Aunt Jo Mama's tasted pretty good after that

Lmao....I won't eat that chit. I agree it's a lot of work for little reward though.

Poulan bar from DSS. If he can live with it I can certainly live without it.

It’s odd to me that Chris would flake like that. Please send me a PM about this and we’ll get you a bar.

Steve and I have still been waiting on word from him on how he liked that SSS 254. The lazy bastige.

My excuse is when I was 11 I was helping dad and gpa put up a old JD elevator.
The one with a derek and cables.
One of the cables broke and the whole thing came down on my head.
Dad said I was flopping around like a chicken with its head cut off.
80 stitches later and a week off from school I’m as normal as can be
