Speaking about riffles, the one I would love to have after the Steyr Mannlicher is Sauer 202 Highland, probleby the same caliber as I have, 7X64 Brenneke, for some odd reason that caliber have always given me a knock down on them deers I've shoot. Probleby the combo of the bullet and speed.
I bought the Steyr Mannlicher because I've always wanted one with a full stock, it's short and compact and fit for a guy who has to move alot in the field, have had it since 2000 I think.
Before I used to swap riffle at least once a season :D let me see what calibers I can remember...

Spoiled he was, but had very strong mentally:

Against the odds he reached the pensioner age (most expensive dog I've ever had when it came to vet bills)

Never shot or have seen a brenneke rare here.
Those are premium rifles to us tor.
Lot's of sub 500.00 rifles here
The terrain is hard on finishes and wood here.
Most of my friend's have synthetic stock's.
One guy has almost all of the ruger number 1s
And with the mannlicher stocks
Don't see many of that style here either.
.243 30-30 .308 30-06 7mm rem
300 win are probably the most popular.
6mm is gaining ground

I didnt knew they was premium rifles over there Dave.
I've had a Sako stainless, but I prefer wood due the look, but with the weather I got, Stainless is the best pick with synth stock.
The Brenneke caliber is rare in Norway too, but that is due everyone just speak about them yankee calibers, we've forgotten that Austrich&Germany has a long tradtion.
7×64 is very close to a caliber your guys have, 284.

What breed of dog is that.
There is still many 7mm 8mm mauser and other rifles in those calibers.
How popular are American rifles and calibers tor?
Sako and sauer and many European rifles are known to be excellent quality but rare here.

he was a wire hair dachs hund dog Dave, colour black&tan (rare on them wire haired). Super strong mentally, loved car rides, no bark indoor, animal when he could hunt, as close as it can be a perfect one I guess.

Where I live, 60% or so 30-06 or 308, at least 20% 6.5×55 since its our main competetion caliber.
Sako, Sauer and Steyr has an excelent hunting trigger system out of the box, absoluttly no creep, a buddy of me had a Shultz Larsen, superb trigger system.

My neightbour use a riffle he bought from me, Sauer 202, caliber 6,5x65, has a silencer and Schmidt&Bender optic.
The other rifle is mine, I'm not so rich as him Dave :(, Steyr Mannlicher SBS 96, caliber 7x64 Brenneke and Zeizz Victory optic.

Used to own the same Steyr rifle, but was in .280 Remington and had Leupold glass. Was stolen by a fella I used to work with. Was a fine shooting rifle.

Had lots of rifles to for everything from a mouse to an elephant. One favorite I still have is a Mauser model 96 American straight pull in 270 Winchester. Makes for some serious deer medicine.

Evening boys. Home from the beach and picking Elliott up from my sister. Relaxed had supper and a little fire for s’mores.

We made it home as a family but not everyone was so lucky. We were back at the campsite when we heard sirens and the our medevac chopper came out and was on scene a long time.

Nice system, too bad I don't have $10k to drop on it....

Could probably shatter windows in my house with it.

Check out Parts Express. A DIY speaker kit is a lot more affordable than production speakers.

I got my stuff for the boat, my bluetooth speaker build and some tower speakers I will build in the future from them.
