I enjoy the static displays. Robins AFB puts on one of the largest Air Shows in the southeast. Dozens of statics to walk through.

I promise Ft Sill has very possibly the smallest show of any military organization. Current inventory aircraft were the C-17 and a T-6 trainer. After that was a C-47 and a several old spotter types. There was an O-1, O-2 and several L-4s which is the old J-3 Cub. Interesting but not impressive. The most impressive part was a single pass flyby of two T-38s. J-3s are cool but their flybys are rather tame.

See Reserve Talons every now and then touch down here...they’ll gas up and get gone on about their way. Had four A-10’s touch down last week to fuel up and head on their way.

...and the Traeger awakes. Baby backs, spare ribs, two lemon & pepper half chickens, two honey chipotle seasoned half yardbirds! Starting ‘em at 225 degs for a couple of hours, pumping down with apple juice/vinegar/water...then kick it up temp-wise, glaze a little sauce on the ribs.

True audiophile speaks to match the amp will probably nearly double the price tag, IMO. Having okay speakers and a great amp, is like have a ported saw with a cat muffler on it.

I'm build planning a set like this, but without the 5000 pounds price tag. I'll probably have 1/8 of that into them when finished. I have about half of the parts already.

EDIT: Those CV's are nice, but I'd go for notch or two higher with an amp like that.

True! He could have matched better speakers with that amp.

CV's are good party/rock & metal speakers, I have two pairs of CV's, I bought back in the 90's, I power them with a yamaha rx-v870. It gets the job done.

I had a set myself back in the 90's and they were great speakers--a 12" woofer in both. Bought them at the BX in Italy. Very good rock speakers for the enthusiast and metalhead.

They met an early demise when iPods were invented and the kids blasted them with volume on max and put a fair amount of distortion through them. Sold them at a garage sale in FL for cheap.
