Pain killers, antibiotica, IV, all seems to go well, except the shoulder infection exploded.
Vet again today, they would had to put him in narchose and remove all his shoulder skin, when I heard all the pain he had to go through I had to let him go even it hurts very much.
I've had wire hair dachsdogs for 20 years, today is the first day I'm without.

I normally count 2-3 years to train up a dog after their puppy age, it's a complicated training, everything from their search style, their contact ability, and a trust relationship. I prefer them to sleep with me since our bonds become stronger. Out of those 3 wire hair dachs I've had, they've been very different as individuals, the first one I had was the smartest one, he always knew when to quit, the female dachs was the one who could get them small deers to go around in very small loops, and the one who passed away today was the biggest talent as raw materiale, but also the one who always wounded himself since he never felt pain hunting lol

For me, the biggest joy is the 3 first years, to see them grow up, find their place in the house, and see them succeed more and more often in the forrest.

Ill see if I can upload a video after we shoot a little deer for Prazzla, will take some time ;)

Not really a long story, but kinda funny. We got him when Spongebob Squarepants was a popular cartoon. One day the dog ate a bunch of weeds. When he took a dump, he ran around for an hour with weeds hanging out of his ass. Instead of Spongebob, my buddy nicknamed him Moosedog Weedbutt:cool::p
