Biggest issue is getting the first slab straight
I used a aluminum ladder and made adjustable brackets to screw to the log to get my first cut.

Will do
I helped my friend but never had one myself.
I've got a 288 to build
It'll be perfect
Ugly sob.

Good
I've got a lot of tree's to cut
Might get one to save money on boards
For my new building.
Lumber is outrageous now.
In my experience you won't end up cutting a lot of boards with it. It's slow work and makes as much saw dust as lumber. Great for slabs and the like and cants. If you get the mini mill to go with it you can cut cants and save money getting them cut into boards by someone with a bandsaw mill as opposed to hauling logs for them to cut.
