In my experience you won't end up cutting a lot of boards with it. It's slow work and makes as much saw dust as lumber. Great for slabs and the like and cants. If you get the mini mill to go with it you can cut cants and save money getting them cut into boards by someone with a bandsaw mill as opposed to hauling logs for them to cut.Good
