Got to fooling around with a neighbors' sons' damn 1/10 scale R/C Traxxis Slash 4x4 off-road baja truck yesterday afternoon/evening. They know I still fly R/C warbirds and planes so they figured they'd drop by. I could get the Tx (transmitter) to bind to the Rx (receiver) but I couldn't get the damn thing to arm and bind the ESC (electronic speed controller). Had steering both left and right, but no throttle. After a few hours of scratching my head and ass, even replaced the ESC with another known good ESC from another truck, it ended up being the throttle trim on the radio was way the hell off and had to be in just the right sweet spot to arm the ESC.

Nonetheless, after figuring it out and telling them to order another trim pot for the throttle trim and I'd unsolder the old one and re-solder the new one when they get it...its a pretty bad ass R/C truck. Runs off 3S, 3 cell Li-Po's...had a 5000Mah battery in it with a 35C discharge rate, and that damn truck will flat out get it!
Good morning Jason. How are you doing? Yep those Traxxas trucks are no joke. The 2 I got for my boys are pretty nuts.

Morning lads,
Picked up wife on airport, so far so good!

I'll see if any of them Echo dealer has the oil.
Using Huskies XP oil at the moment, no issue with the smell from that oil, seems I'm not sensetive for whatever oil I run
Good morning Tor how are things going in your neck of the woods
