I don't know where that happened but it could have been local to me. On the news the last couple of days we have lots of "experts" telling us what to do if we encounter an aggressive goose. We have something like 100 000 Canada geese that call the city itself home for the summer.

I had a buddy tell me he was afraid of birds. Unbeknownst to him I had chickens at the time and proceeded to grab one and throw it at him while we were in the garage drinking lol.
